CENTENARY CELEBRATION DINNER

We are excited to host a Centenary celebration dinner this Friday 11^th October at 8pm in the clubhouse.  Limited tickets are available from the office and are €30. It promises to be a special night to meet friends with live music and a wonderful meal and we hope our members can join us to celebrate 100 years of Dungarvan Golf Club.

SILVER AND BRONZE ALL IRELAND FINALS

Two of our golfers Carmel O’Brien and Theresa Guiry qualified to play in the Silver and Bronze respectively on Wednesday October 2nd. Both ladies had qualified first at club level and then in a regional final held last August. Around 160 golfers from all over Ireland gathered to play either the Championship Course (Silver) or the Old Course (Bronze). Carmel had an excellent top 20 finish on a difficult course and Theresa too finished well up the field. Well done we are proud of you both.

QUIZ NIGHT

We are holding a fun quiz night on Wednesday 30^th October in the clubhouse at 8pm. We have the fantastic Bob O’Brien as quizmaster and a great night is guaranteed! Save the date!

WEEKLY SPAR QUALIFIER

The SPAR Final will be held on Sunday 13^th October. Qualifiers have been notified and bookings are open online for members. Visitors who qualified please call the office to book a tee time.

MUNSTER SENIOR WOMENS SOCIETY

We welcomed 100 ladies to our club on Monday from golf clubs across Munster. Thank you to our members Angela Murphy and Mary Power for organising the visit and for bringing the Munster SWGS to Dungarvan Golf Club.

We are back this Wednesday at 11am for our weekly competition.

We had no 60.com competition on Wednesday 2^nd Oct due to the Open Week taking place. We are back as normal this Wednesday.

FUN FRIDAY FOURSOMES
The Scotch Foursomes return this Friday (Oct 11). We play the back nine holes and it is a fun event. Gather at the front of the clubhouse at 8.45am ready to start at 9 am. It is a shotgun start. No need to book. Just come along. Everyone welcome.

LOTTO RESULTS

We had our weekly Lotto Draw on Friday 4^th October. The numbers drawn were 15, 18, 26 and 28. The jackpot was €3,800, and there was no winner. The jackpot is €3,900 for the next draw. We had no match 3 winner this week. The next draw will take place on Friday 11^th October at 3.30pm. Thank you to everyone who supports our Lotto. All funds raised are used to develop our course.
