CENTENARY CELEBRATION DINNER

We had a wonderful night last Friday celebrating our Centenary year with a fantastic atmosphere in the clubhouse as members gathered to enjoy a great night. Tom Daly and his team treated us to a delicious meal that was enjoyed by all and we were entertained by the brilliant band Carouse. Everyone had a great night and special thank you to our organising committee and everyone who attended. It has been a busy and memorable year for the club celebrating our Centenary.

MUNSTER SENIOR WOMENS SOCIETY

We welcomed 98 ladies from the Munster Senior women’s society on Monday 7^th October and it was great to see so many ladies from across many golf clubs in Munster enjoying our course. Thank you to club members Angela Murphy and Mary Power for organising this outing.

AUTUMN MIXED LEAGUE

The Autumn Mixed League is underway since Monday 14^th Oct and the list of teams and conditions of play are printed in both locker rooms. Best of luck to all the teams and enjoy!

QUIZ NIGHT

We are holding a fun quiz night on Wednesday 30^th October in the clubhouse at 8pm. We have the fantastic Bob O’Brien as quizmaster and a great night is guaranteed! Save the date! All are welcome.

WEEKLY SPAR QUALIFIER

The SPAR Final was held on Sunday 13^th October. Thank you to SPAR Ireland for sponsoring this competition which ran over 13 weeks and was very well supported each Friday by our members and visitors.

We had a great turnout for our weekly competition last week. 1^st Joanne Lannen (18) 15pts, 2^nd Bridget O’Shea (45) 14pts. We are back this Wednesday at 11am for our weekly competition.

60.COM

We were back to our usual 60.com competition on Wednesday 9th October. We had a full timesheet and a lovely day for golf. The winners were: 1^st Maurice Cliffe 20pts, 2^nd Tom Power 19pts, 3^rd Eamon Keane 19pts. If you’re over 60 years of age, and interested in social golf, then join us any Wednesday by putting your name on our timesheet.

FUN FRIDAY FOURSOMES

Presently a number of our new Get into Golf ladies and men have submitted cards for handicap purposes while others are in the process of completing cards. If you are free and would like to help in this regard, please contact any member of the Get into Golf committee.

LOTTO RESULTS

We had our weekly Lotto Draw on Friday 11^th. The numbers drawn were 4, 9, 15 and 20.
The jackpot was €3,900, and there was no winner. The jackpot is €4,000 for the next draw. As there was no Match 3 winner on Friday 4th of October, Friday 11th Match 3 winners share €200.
We had two match 3 winners this week. June Hayes and John McCarthy who each win €100. The next draw will take place on Friday 18^th October at 3.30pm. Thank you to everyone who supports our Lotto. All funds raised are used to develop our course.
