We have a great new member joining rate for 2025 – join us for €430 (+ €28 Golf Ireland fee) for the year. Dungarvan Golf Club has lots to offer everyone. We have an excellent Pro Shop for all your equipment needs, our PGA Professional David Hayes who along with giving great golf advice gives lessons to beginners and seasoned golfers. We have a range of competitions and casual golf options for all types of golfers.

Our beautiful bar and restaurant is very popular where Tom and his team serve delicious breakfasts, lunches and evening meals daily.  We have plenty of social events throughout the year and also weekly bridge, cards, book clubs, day trips and visits to other golf courses. LIONS CLUB FUNDRAISER – OPEN SCRAMBLE
On Sunday 8^th December we are holding an Open 14H Champagne Mixed Scramble (any combination) and all proceeds will go to the annual Lions club fundraiser. We appeal to our members to book in and support this very important fundraiser. If you are not available to play, we have donation buckets in the clubhouse all next week. Thank you for supporting.

CHRISTMAS SUNDAY SOCIAL SCRAMBLE
This Christmas Scramble is scheduled for this coming Sunday Dec 1. It will have a Christmas theme with refreshments in the bar later. The scramble is open to all members. Time sheet is open so go online and book your place between 11 am and 12-50 pm. Shotgun start at 1pm. Scramble €5 entry (adults) and €2 (juveniles).

HO, HO HO, ITS CHRISTMAS!

Join us on Sunday 1^st December at 4.30pm for presentation of the following prizes; Home Alliance, Birdie Tree, Ladies & Gents Golfer of the Year, Bronze & Silver Medal, Gents Monthly Medals, Gents Matchplay Singles and E.P Kiely and Ena Kiely Cups.

At the end of Week 5 the teams scores are as follows: Mercedes Benz 45, Jaguar BMW 44, Rolls Royce 43, Lamborghini 41, Aston Martin 41, Bugatti 34, Audi 33, Ferrari 29. The top 5 individual scores are Maurice Cliffe 83, Roger O Connor 82, Celia Power 80, TC Curran 79, Antoinette Hurley 77. Scores are very close! Still, everything to play for!

LOTTO LUCKY DIP

Each month we have a special lucky dip prize for the purchasers of €2 and €5 tickets. This is in addition to the normal prizes. Both envelope and online tickets will be included. BE IN TO WIN!!!

60.COM

We had another big crowd for our 60.com competition on Wednesday 20 November. The first really cold day in the year did not deter our players and we had excellent results coming through. The winners were: 1^st Mossie Walsh 21pts, 2^nd Rufus Flynn 18pts, 3^rd Sean English 18pts. If you’re interested in social golf, and are over 60 years of age, then join us any Wednesday by putting your name on our timesheet.

FUN FRIDAY FOURSOMES

Heavy frost and low temperatures put paid to the foursomes last Friday morning. Hopefully things will be better this Friday (Nov 29). If you would like to join us for this social event just come along at 8.45 am and assemble outside the clubhouse. We have a shotgun start at 9 am. It is a great opportunity to meet other members and have some fun.

LOTTO RESULTS

We had our weekly Lotto Draw on Friday 22^nd Nov.  The numbers drawn were 15,19, 25 and 27. The jackpot was €4,500, and there was no winner. The jackpot is €4,600 for the next draw. We had one match 3 winner Mairead Flynn who wins €100. The next draw will take place on Friday 29^th November. Thank you to everyone who supports our Lotto. All funds raised are used to develop our course.

BRIDGE

Bridge takes place every Friday at 11am in the clubhouse – all are welcome.
