We have a great new member joining rate for 2025 – join us for €430 (+ €28 Golf Ireland fee) for the year. Dungarvan Golf Club has lots to offer everyone. We have an excellent Pro Shop for all your equipment needs, our PGA Professional David Hayes who along with giving great golf advice gives lessons to beginners and seasoned golfers. We have a range of competitions and casual golf options for all types of golfers.

Our beautiful bar and restaurant are very popular where Tom and his team serve delicious breakfasts, lunches and evening meals daily.  We have plenty of social events throughout the year and also weekly bridge, cards, book clubs, day trips and visits to other golf courses. LIONS CLUB FUNDRAISER – OPEN SCRAMBLE
On Sunday 8^th December we held an Open 11H Champagne Mixed Scramble with all proceeds going to the annual Dungarvan Lions Cub fundraiser. The weather was dry after a stormy weekend and we thank everyone who supported this important fundraiser.  Congratulations to winners Eamon Keane, Rory McKeown and Tony McKeown (55pts) and runners up Liam Hansbury, Adrian Hansbury and Leigh Hansbury (55pts).

GET INTO GOLF WINTER LESSONS
David Hayes our PGA Professional is available at the driving range in Tinhalla Driving Range on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm in the New Year. These are group lessons and are an ideal way to upskill and improve your golfing techniques for the new golfing season. Interest is keen but there are still a few places left. If you would like to avail of this opportunity, just contact any member of the Get into Golf Committee.

We had no competition last week but are back this week at 11am. Our Christmas party will be on Wednesday 18^th Dec at 2pm please add your name to the sheet in locker room.

60.COM

We had no 60.com competition on Wednesday 4 Dec due to consistent rain throughout the day. Our Christmas party is on this Wednesday 11^th. The format is a nine-hole scramble with dinner afterwards in the clubhouse.

FUN FRIDAY FOURSOMES
We are not having a lot of luck weather-wise regarding the running of this event on Friday mornings. However, we are hopeful that this Friday we will be back. We play 
9 holes of Scotch Foursomes with a shotgun start at 9am. It is a social event and a great way to meet other members.  Simply assemble at the clubhouse at 8.45am ready to start at 9 am.

LOTTO RESULTS

We had our weekly Lotto Draw today Friday 6^th Dec. The numbers drawn were 10, 16, 26 and 28. The jackpot was €4,700, and there was no winner. The jackpot is €4,800 for the next draw. We had one match 3 winner – Nicky James – who wins €100. The next draw will take place on Friday 13^th December. Thank you to everyone who supports our Lotto. All funds raised are used to develop our course.

LOTTO LUCKY DIP

Each month we have a special lucky dip prize for the purchasers of €2 and €5 tickets. This is in addition to the normal prizes. Both envelope and online tickets will be included. BE IN TO WIN!!!

Bridge takes place every Friday at 11am in the clubhouse – all are welcome.
