We have a great new member joining rate for 2025. Join for €430 + €28 Golf Ireland fee for the year. Dungarvan Golf Club has lots to offer everyone. We have an excellent Pro Shop for all your equipment needs, our PGA Professional David Hayes who along with giving great golf advice gives lessons to beginners and seasoned golfers. We have a range of competitions and casual golf options for all types of golfers.

Our beautiful bar and restaurant are very popular where Tom and his team serve delicious breakfasts, lunches and evening meals daily.  We have plenty of social events throughout the year and also weekly bridge, cards, book clubs, day trips and visits to other golf courses. The Annual General meeting of the Ladies Club will be held on Tuesday 14th January 2025, at 7pm in the clubhouse.

MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTIONS 2025

Our Membership Renewal Invoices have gone out to all members by email. We encourage members to pay in full or set up a payment plan using our BRS Memberships system. Please contact the office if you require assistance with this or if you had difficulty receiving the email.

SPRING MIXED LEAGUE 2025

The Spring Mixed League start date has been postponed to Monday 20th January due to weather conditions. Final Entry date is now Thursday 14th January.

60.COM

We had no 60.com competition on Wednesday 7^th Jan due to the course being closed as a result of ongoing frost. Hopefully the weather will be kind to us this week.

FUN FRIDAY FOURSOMES
Yellow and orange weather warnings were the order of the day last week with a lot of golf events being cancelled. Our foursomes were no exception. However, we are back this Friday morning. Shotgun start at nine am. We play nine holes of Scotch Foursomes. It is a social event with coffee and a chat in the clubhouse later.

SUNDAY SOCIAL SCRAMBLE
Our next Social Scramble is scheduled for Sunday Jan 26. Shotgun start at 2 pm. It is open to all members. Timesheet is open. Just go online and book your place. We would love to see you there.

WINTER GOLF LESSONS
These lessons with David Hayes got underway last Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7-8pm in Tinhalla driving range. They continue for four consecutive weeks. They are in great demand with a waiting list in place!

LOTTO RESULTS

We had our weekly Lotto Draw on Friday 10^th January. The numbers drawn were 1, 3, 5 and 20. The jackpot was €5,200, and there was no winner. The jackpot is €5,300 for the next draw. We had two match 3 winners – Ruth Byrne and Kevin Kiersey – as there was no match 3 winner last week, they each win €100. The next draw will take place on Friday 17^th January. Thank you to everyone who supports our Lotto. All funds raised are used to develop our course.

BRIDGE

Bridge takes place every Friday at 11am in the clubhouse – all are welcome.
